Winner, winner, winner!

Thanks for taking part in my first giveaway! I woke up this morning excited to get to make someone's day. Just like mine was made earlier in the week to learn that I won a blog giveaway. I think it was the first one I ever entered too. I have crazy good luck that way. Here is what I won, something that will be very useful!

Okay, on to the winners!!! The grand prize yard of Gnomes and Charm pack goes to:
winner1
lesleyandsara who left comment #83. Woohoo Lesley! :-)

I'm sending 2 more charm packs (can both of you please email me? I can't access your emails):
winner2
Michael (Allie) is comment #58

winner3
Virginia is comment #78

Congrats everyone and thank you so much for all great charm ideas you have left in your comments. You have inspired me to use my charms and scraps. Over the next few days I'll be going through and following all my new followers. Check back for more giveaways. I'll try to do them once a month or so.

First of many giveaways!

I hope you love free fabric because I love to give fabric away!

Blog Giveaway!

We will start it off with 1 full yard of Heather Ross Lightening Bugs & Other Mysteries Gnomes on Blue. In addition to that I'll send you a charm pack consisting of the other 12 fabulous fabrics pictured.

The winner will be chosen by random number on Friday, April 29th.

For 1 entry, leave me a comment telling me how you would use your fabric charms (quilting, applique, mug rugs, patchy zipper bags, etc.) To double your chances and get a 2nd entry, follow my blog and leave me another comment telling me you're a follower.

For every 50 entries I get I will draw another # for an additional charm pack winner, max 4 winners. Good luck!

Starting with some imported goodness

Can't think of a better way to start off my new blog. These came in the mail today, express from Asia. I had to sign for them so when I got out of the shower and saw Annie, my mail carrier, leaving my house with my fabric I considered chasing her down the street in my towel! Thankfully I dress fast and it didn't come to that. Being addicted to fabric (especially crazy hard to find, imported fabric) can make you do crazy things!

Beautiful Stack of Imports

From top to bottom:
Suzuko Koseki for Yuwa Japan Pink Buttons
Suzuko Koseki for Yuwa Japan Pink Vintage Sewing Scissors
Kei Fabrics Japan Kerchief Girls Black
Kei Fabrics Japan Kerchief Girls Green
Suzuko Koseki for Yuwa Japan Multi Buttons

What should I make? Check back soon for a post filled with photos and instructions on how to make this step-into, one-piece, peasant romper I made for Annie. I've had this idea in my head for weeks and I made it work!
